Our Mission Statement: To promote the Japanese Culture and preserve the Japanese American experience through ecucation, events and activities for our community. WHERE IS IT? The center is located at 12953 Branford Street in Pacoima and is easily accessible via the Golden State Freeway. See Map WHO belongs to the Center? Membership is open to anyone or families wishing to pursue the Japanese culture. Currently, the SFVJACC is comprised of approximately 900 families residing throughout the valley. WHEN are meetings held? Public attendance is welcome at the general membership meetings which is held on the first Wednesday of each month. Cabinet meeting are held every 3rd Wednesday. HOW much are the dues?
The annual dues are $55.00
per family . Click for a membership application. WHAT is the purpose of the Center? The purpose of the SFVJACC is to promote and preserve the Japanese culture, to encourage youth and adult welfare work and to promote activities for its membership. WHO operates the SFVJACC? The SFVJACC is operated and managed by officers elected by its membership, with election being held each year. Officers serve without any compensation and all services are voluntary. BENEFITS of membership? Free monthly publication of the CC News, low cost immunization clinics, sponsored health and welfare events. participation in the annual picnic and barbecue events as well as the options to join affiliate organizations. |
