Coronavirus (COVID-19) Impact & Response
Message from the SFVJACC President
The SFVJACC Board of Directors has temporarily closed our Center on March 5 after consultation with Dr. Richard Kang who explained the dangers of the surging COVID-19 outbreak. Thank you to Dr. Kang (SFVJACC Member), Bing Lau and Jeremey Tsuneishi for their leadership.
The SFVJACC Board came to a unanimous decision to move quickly and lock down the facility to limit small and large gatherings. This decision was not taken lightly and is based on guidelines from the CDC, the Los Angeles Department of Public Health, and the medical community.
We will not reopen until we think it is safe for all. The board is currently working on guidelines and procedures to ensure we can do our part to protect the health of all members. We will consider reopening once the infection curve flattens and starts to go down significantly.
If you have any symptoms, please isolate yourself and call your doctor, limit travel and non essential activities, avoid large groups, and practice “social distancing.” This includes healthy youth who have social contact with their high risk grandparents and others
We need everyone to do their part to ensure the reopening of a safe center as soon as possible. We will as well.
We miss seeing you, playing, and enjoying our long time friendships but if we don’t take this seriously, our center has failed you.

The Coronavirus impacts all of us in the SFVJACC community. The recommended guidelines issued by the CDC and Public Health Departments are harder for some in our community to manage.
