We are excited to announce the return of taiko classes at SFVJACC. Practice the art of Japanese drumming with instructor Walter Nishinaka from J-Town Taiko Club, Chikara Daiko, and LA Taiko Collective. All levels and ages welcome! Please select the classes that best support your interests.

Sunday, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Learn taiko basics without the pressure of performances. Perfect for all ages and skill levels. Let's hit drums and have fun! |
Taiko Performing Class
Sunday, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Learn performance pieces at a faster pace with a focus on stage presence and overall performance skills. Open to all skill levels. |
Senior Taiko Class
Wednesday, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Low intensity taiko basics. Get some exercise while sharpening your memory as you work on various rhythms and techniques. Taiko with a focus on accessibility and wellness! |
